Artwork Statement:

In life humanity faces loss and that moment where a true emotional goodbye was not possible. Whether it be a person or a moment in time, we walk through life carrying these unfinished stories in our souls. We long for a chance to bring that instance back so we could finally unearth those sealed memories and release them into the other realm. Allowing for that proper opportunity to address soulful trauma and say goodbye.

In “Come Back from Goodbye” Felicella is creating a space of the earth ready for a chance to find a place of healing and release. To unearth it not only from the depths of self but also from the physical world of lived plane using the tools made to let the moment and people to travel into the space above it all. As Felicella works to transfer these people and moments through a ritualistic approach all are invited into the place of healing to use the same tools to address their personal depths as the performer and person work as one.
